Strategic Technology Planning

We provide the people and information needed to help campus leaders identify and apply the best information technologies for their long term needs. It is our responsibility to:

1. Help with campus wide planning of information technology.
2. Work closely with individual campus leaders to help plan their information technology activities and identify strategic opportunities.
3. Facilitate cross-organizational evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
4. Explore and facilitate information infrastructure opportunities from the international to the local level.
5. Assist and advance IST's efforts to build the best possible information technology organization.

STP brings together people and groups from across the campus to share ideas and work together in planning and implementing important information technologies. In so doing, STP seeks to make the best use for the campus of IST's expertise and resources.
